APRAM TRAINING: ISN MINISTERS ACTION FOR PILOTS AND SEAWAYS
The first training action was held in September for APRAM pilots and seafarers, with the aim of providing basic technical skills in the areas of survival at sea and recovery of individuals in the aquatic environment.
Under the coordination of the Head of the Maritime Rescue Service of the Instituto de Socorros a Náufragos, 12 APRAM employees participated in this theoretical and practical training, with a total duration of 25 hours, four of which were for night instruction.
The trainees learned technical skills for survival at sea and self-rescue, as well as for the rescue of an individual in the aquatic environment, in addition to acquiring knowledge and skills to provide first aid in the most common accidents.
