APIBARRA meets with ISN

On the 2nd of June, APIBARRA had the honor of being received by Mr. Director of the Institute for Aid to Castaways, Mr. Cte. Rui Gabriel Martins Santos Pereira, together with the Deputy Director and Chief of the Rescue Service.

With the first training module almost completed, assistance was requested to develop a new training module whose basis will be:

• Rescue in bad weather, contributing to the identification of potential operational limits;
• Creating checklists, routines and exercise plan (including creating type exercises).

On the other hand, due to the fact that there were new admissions motivated by the reform of some staff, it was required that a process was also established so that we could proceed with the initial training of these new elements.
